Holderman Hospital is on the grounds of the Veterans' Home and at one time provided complete health care for the Members.  Now, due to advances in medicine, it is more practical and cost-effective to transfer Members needing acute hospital care to either Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa or Saint Helena Hospital in Saint Helena.  Both of these facilities provide state-of-the-art care in virtually all of the medical specialties.  Some Members are treated at Ft. Miley, the Veterans' Hospital in San Francisco.  Holderman Hospital now provides nursing home and rehabilitation services.   In addition, there is a full-service pharmacy for the Members, an Ambulatory Care Center, Physical Therapy, Lab, X-ray, etc.
